Psalm 37:5
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will act.” God is not a man, that he should lie (Numbers 23:19). We entrust our lives to people we have never seen — the pilot, the person who made the medicine — and to things that can fail. How much more his promise: “I will never leave you” (Hebrews 13:5).
The jars were made so that people would draw a verse each day and grow used to taking God at his word. Whoever does not believe God makes him out to be a liar (1 John 5:10).
