1 John 3:1
Through the “Gifts for orphaned children” project we want to show them they are not alone, and to remind them that God remains their Father. The gesture is small. God gave a greater Gift: through Jesus Christ he adopts us.
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are” (1 John 3:1). “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy, by the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).
